Overview

Our training is designed to offer plenty of hands-on experience, allowing you to learn through real human connection and not just videos or theory. With small group sizes, you’ll receive personalized attention, ensuring that each participant gets the opportunity to practice and perfect their teaching skills. You will also have the opportunity to learn from guest professionals who will bring their expertise and unique perspectives to enrich your training experience. The in-person format allows for immediate feedback and real-time corrections to enhance your learning experience.

Training Details

Total Duration: 100 hours

This training is conducted entirely in French. Here's the breakdown of the hours:

Program Perks

This training is designed to give you real-world experience and ongoing support throughout your journey.

  • 20 classes included over 4 months, starting upon registration and valid until the final day of training, plus 20% off additional drop-in classes.

  • Studio rental available for practice teaching

  • Tuition includes all exams and certification fees

  • Opportunity to teach community classes with real clients at Pilates Club

Training Schedule

5 weekends:

Friday evening: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM


Our Approach

Our training is rooted in a modern, real-world approach to Pilates.

We combine structure and creativity to help you develop your own teaching voice while ensuring you have the tools to teach safely, effectively and with intention.

Our approach is authentic and inclusive, in line with the values of Pilates Club.

Prerequisites

About Your Facilitator

Melissa Elias

Led by Melissa Elias, an experienced osteopath and Pilates instructor with over 14 years of teaching experience.

With a B.Sc. in Kinesiology from the University of Montreal, certifications in Pilates Mat and Reformer, and training in osteopathy, Melissa brings a strong technical foundation combined with a deep, holistic understanding of the body.

She designed this training to go beyond theory offering a practical, human and immersive experience that prepares you to teach with clarity, confidence and intention.

Co-Facilitators

Throughout your training, you’ll not only work with Melissa but also with other members of our team. Each one of us will bring a unique touch, allowing you to benefit from our collective strengths and enrich your learning experience.

Support for Your Pilates Teaching Journey

Pilates Club is proud to offer a scholarship covering 50% of the total cost of our Reformer Teacher Training. This initiative is designed to support individuals facing financial barriers and to promote greater inclusion and representation in the Pilates world. Priority is given to applicants from BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other historically underrepresented communities.
